LUTHER THORNE PRIMARY SCHOOL are the Under 11 Boys’ Divisional Relay Champions.

They ran away with the top spot at the recently held Elite Sports Barbados Relay Fair at the National Stadium and took the trophy donated by multi-brand automotive dealers McEnearney Quality Inc. (MQI).

And at full assembly at the Wildey school on Monday, physical education teacher Adrian Brome had high praise for the athletes.

He told NATIONSPORT that he was pleased with the result and that it augurs well for the morale of the school and that of his charges.

“We won the 1000 metres sprint relay medley, which was made up of the 100, 200, 300 and 400 legs, where we won gold and also performed a similar feat in the 4×100 metre,” the PE teacher noted. (TT)
