Share post:

PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS of the Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytechnic (SJPP) will have an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the programmes on offer by the campus next month.

Between March 2 and 11, staff of the SJPP will take over 100 secondary students on a tour of the facilities at Wildey, St Michael.

In some cases, students will get hands on experience in the areas of building, cosmetology, mechanical engineering, motor vehicle engineering and a range of other disciplines.

They will also be shown how to apply online at www.sjpp.edu.bb.

Principal, Hector Belle, will welcome the students of Combermere and Deighton Griffith Schools on March 3, and accompany them to some of the areas of the Polytechnic during the tour, which starts at 10 a.m.

Tours will be held from 10:00 a.m. to noon and again from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. daily. (BGIS)
