Cooking up something big

THE NEW FOOD PRODUCTS developed by the food and nutrition students of The Lodge School will be made available for sale at and marketed by the Carlton A1 and Emerald City supermarkets.  

This promise has come from Andrew Bynoe, owner of the supermarket chain, who after tasting some of the samples made available yesterday said he would offer to market all of the products if the school desired.

Bynoe said the students would also have their foods served on the store’s breakfast line.

Speaking from the Emerald City, Six Roads, St Philip store, where the school’s sixth form students launched their food products, Bynoe said he had some new ideas on how the students could take the product sampling, which might be a simple exercise, and turn it into a full-fledged successful business with them working behind the scenes.
