Police investigating shooting in Bank Hall

AN INVESTIGATION is being carried out into the death of Selwyn Knight who was shot and killed by a policeman around 6:50 a.m. today at Dash Gap, Bank Hall, St Michael.

Knight, 57, of Queen Mary Road, Bank Hall, was reportedly chasing a burglar when the incident occurred.

Two other men were taken into custody. One of the men was injured and is currently receiving medical treatment.  selwyn-knight

One of the victims was armed with a knife which was recovered along with other property. A senior Police Officer has been assigned to investigate the shooting.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the shooting or has information, to call telephone number 430-7189.  (PR/SAT)

The body of Selwyn Knight lies covered in the road after the shooting early this morning.
