AFTER NEARLY A quarter of a century, the controversial St John Polyclinic is 95-97 per cent finished and should be completed in June.
Prime Minister Freundel Stuart gave this assurance in the House of Assembly yesterday, amidst Opposition misgivings about the completion date.
“I think, based on the state of completion of the polyclinic, that by the 30th of June we can get it finished,” Stuart told parliamentarians. “I met with all stakeholders . . . about two months ago and I am satisfied that we can get the polyclinic finished.”
Stuart said the institution would be called the David Thompson Polyclinic after late Prime Minister and St John MP David Thompson. (TY)
