MARCH IS TYPICALLY a slow month for sales, so Sheraton Mall has found an innovative way to attract customers while helping local artisans.
Thus the inaugural Sheraton Arts And Crafts Fair has been born.
Marketing manager Eboni Phillips said they had invited about 30 local artisans to showcase their products in the western car park in a mutually beneficial initiative.
“In March people don’t spend as much as during the rest of the year, plus we want to give artists an opportunity they wouldn’t normally have. The artists are offering unique things you wouldn’t normally find in the mall, especially with Mother’s Day around the corner,” she said.
In addition, Phillips said there were activities for children such as face painting and jumping tents as well as live entertainment by pannist Roger Gibbs. (CA)
