Trinis squash Bajans in NACRA rugby 44-5
BARBADOS endured a 44-5 drubbing from arch-rivals Trinidad and Tobago in their North American Caribbean Rugby Association (NACRA) match at the Garrison Savannah last Saturday.
The Trinidadians moved quickly to put themselves in the lead with a try by Anderson Joseph but the gusty wind foiled the conversion attempt.
Minutes later, the men in red struck again with another try, touched down by Ernest Wright and a successful kick converted by Felician Guerra to put the visitors ahead 10-0.
Trinidadians Akiel Smith and Felicien Guerra scored one additional try and conversion, respectively. (PR/EZS)
