THE BEAUTY OF the world, its languages, animals, plants, climates, and culture came into focus at the St Gabriel’s School Open Day under the theme Our Wonderful World.

Principal Angela Blackett said the students took a positive outlook at they examined all the different aspects of what is good in the world.

Each class chose a country or region to research and created an exhibit.  The African exhibit showed its animals, savannahs and rivers while Antarctica was highlighted as the coldest, windiest, highest, driest and emptiest place in the world.

Outer space was also on display along with the famous buildings, tourist attractions and places of interest across the world.

The countries’ festivals were also depicted using craftwork. (LK)
