LESTER VAUGHAN are the most powerful boys school in track & field competition in this country.
The St Thomas school scorched the track at the National Stadium yesterday, underlining their supremacy in particular in the hurdles, to seize the boys crown for the first time, finishing 38 points clear of second-placed Christ Church Foundation.
When the dust had settled, the new champions, led by Rivaldo Leacock, Stephen Griffith and Mario Linton, engulfed head coach Alwyn Babb, who played a pivotal role in their rousing success. (BN)
