ONE MAN SUFFERED a broken foot in a four-car smash up along Hinds Hill, St Michael, today.

Initial reports indicate Wesley Moore, of Gibbons, Christ Church was the most seriously injured. His brother Ryan Moore was on the scene, and said Wesley had to be extricated with the Jaws of Life and taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) via ambulance.

Nationnews understands the driver of one of the cars lost control and struck three others. The driver of that first car had also been taken to hospital.

One of the two remaining drivers on the scene said he saw the first driver lose control, but could not avoid him.

Two children, one of whom is 18 months old, appeared to be unhurt, but also went to the QEH as a precautionary measure. (CA)
