Reaching out to youth

THE SUPREME COUNSELLING FOR PERSONAL DEVELOPMENTā€™S Project Rescue Programme is making great progress in addressing behavioural challenges with secondary schoolchildren.

At a fun day, picnic and prize-giving ceremony yesterday at the King George V Memorial Park, chief executive officer of Supreme Counselling for Personal Development, Shawn Clarke, said since the implementation of the programme there have been reported improvements in many of the children.

Notably Grantley Adams Memorial continues to see improvement in students. Those who fought and performed poorly academically improved attendance.

In addition to student participation, Clarke said the teachers are on board with the initiative and Parkinson Memorial School continues to improve since it had the Most Supreme Being for the past two school terms. (LK)
