Theft thwarted

This time the bandits didn’t get what they were after.

An alert woman from Groves, St George heeded recent Press reports of well-dressed men forcing their way into Barbadian middle-class homes, and believes it may have saved her from becoming the latest victim on Tuesday night.

But after her harrowing ordeal, the 45-year-old believes the bandits may be targeting specific homes, in specific areas.

The woman said she was also surprised that police had up to that time not contacted her for a statement after they were called about the incident.
