DEACONS AND BARBADOS JUNIOR PRIDE are the new respective champions of the junior volleyball knockout male and female tournaments after two exciting finals were contested at the Wildey Gym on Wednesday night.

In a high-energy game of brutal spiking and impressive defence, Deacons dethroned the Barbados Juniors 25-20, 19-25, 25-23, 18-25, 25-13.  Former Barbados captain Elwyn Oxley led Deacons to victory over an inconsistent Juniors.
