A FATAL ACCIDENT yesterday along Black Rock Main Road, St Michael, claimed the life of a teenager and made the quiet Good Friday observance a sombre one for her relatives and friends.

Adrianna Sobers, 17, of The City, was the pillion rider of a motorcycle driven by 23-year-old Kemar Jordan, of St James.

She was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

They were involved in a collision with two Transport Board buses around 1:40 p.m. near Danesbury. The buses were driven by Walter Lewis, 47 and Christopher Edwards, 51.

Jordan received serious abrasions, especially to his right arm, and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital via ambulance. There was also a report of an 18-month-old baby, a passenger on one of the buses, being taken to the hospital for precautionary observation and assessment.
