THE BARBADOS TURF CLUB presents an Easter special today with Shared Adventure and Just A Fashion clashing over 1570 metres at the Garrison Savannah, for a purse of $25 000.
Racing enthusiasts could be in for an epic event when the top-class horses rated 140-122 battle in the Grand Stand Posse Challenge Stakes in honour of Kingley Street. The 1 570 metre event is also open to horses rated 121 and below over.
This 4:40 p.m. showdown should be mouth watering, as the last two Horse Of The Year winners will be giving away loads of weight to their opponents.
Shared Adventure made light work of his opposition in the Spa Sprint Stakes over 1 100 metres but he has not been as efficient at today’s trip when throwing around weight. He will again be in the hands of the underrated jockey Kyle Carter, who is as skilled as the more touted riders.
