Sinckler willing to sacrifice career
Minister of Finance Chris Sinckler is prepared to sacrifice his political career in the interest of the country.
Making it clear that he did not hold the view that he was born to be a politician or had some divine right to be a Prime Minister, Sinckler told the SUNDAY SUN he was not prepared to do things for the sake of popularity when he was satisfied they would hurt the country in the long run.
“I wasn’t born to be a politician, you know, and there are other things I presume I can do in life. . . . As the old people use to say ‘the mason ain’t build me here’ and even if a mason built me here I can get knocked down.
