MEMORIES ARE made of unforgettable moments.

And a moment that left an indelible impression was the Capita Financial Rosemary & Friends concert at the Frank Collymore Hall on Saturday.

The aim of the concert, held in association with the Central Bank, was to raise funds for the Barbados Kidney Association. It featured a number of outstanding Barbadian singers and musicians who displayed enviable resonance and instrumentation for almost three hours.

The 500-seater hall, enhanced by a stage with a tropical feel by its artistic layout of ferns and palms with an almost rainforest effect, was by no means packed. One wondered what could have kept the other maybe 250 away. They missed out on a tasteful menu in more ways than one. In addition to the feast of music, patrons partook of complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres during the 20-minute intermission.
