Lynch for new stadium

Barbados needs a new National Stadium – and fast.

This is the view of vice president of the Athletics Association of Barbados Noel Lynch who told the DAILY NATION in a recent interview at the 44-year-old sporting facility, that “we need to be thinking very clearly in Barbados about rebuilding a stadium”.

“This stadium needs some measure of serious renovation on this western side where these stands are. The Louis Lynch Stand and the other four stands need to be renovated. People no longer sit on concrete. All over the world people sit on some sort of plastic moulded type chair and therefore that’s the type of seating that you need.
