MOUNTING CONCERNS about the Oistins Fish Festival will be taken into consideration, organisers have promised.

Now in its 38th year, the Fish Festival has come in for heavy criticism from all the stakeholders involved, and deputy chairman of the organising committee, Dan Carter, last night gave the commitment that the criticisms will be examined.

“Over the last 38 years we’ve done our best to make a lot of innovation into the festival. After 38 we can perhaps take a look at it. . . . I assure the public that we will continue to see how best we can involve them in terms of participation,” Carter told the DAILY NATION.
