DISGUSTED AND HURT.
That was the reaction yesterday of John Griffiths, the man who got a court order last December for Speaker of the House Michael Carrington to pay him nearly a quarter-million dollars of outstanding monies.
“I was really shocked and surprised by his [Carrington’s] statement that came in the newspaper. It’s disgusting; he brought this on himself,” Griffiths told the MIDWEEK NATION in response to the Queen’s Counsel’s disclosure on Sunday that the publicity involving the money dispute had traumatised his family and endangered his career as a lawyer.
“He [Carrington] allowed this to happen. And now he is saying that his hands are clean. His hands are clean because I took him to court and got an injunction against him,” Griffiths said. (TS)
