THE FIRST HEAD of the merged Barbados operations of Cable & Wireless Communications (CWC) and Columbus Communications has been named.

Niall Sheehy, an experienced telecommunications executive, has been appointed managing director of the combined LIME and Flow brands.

Sheehy previously served as the managing director of Columbus Barbados before this new appointment, which was disclosed by John Reid, CWC consumer group president.
