THE FORMULA for getting his heifers to produce the best quality milk in the island lies with dairy farmer Barry Bishop.
He has been supplying milk to the Pine Hill Dairy (PHD) from 2010, and the dairy is so pleased with the quality of his milk that he was recognised yesterday. PHD presented Bishop with a plaque and complimentary milk at his East Point, St Philip farm.
Bishop, the newest farmer to join the list of 17 milk suppliers, was rewarded for providing milk which, according to PHD, was “of a consistently high quality”.
