VIDEO: Barbados a leader in child protection

BARBADOS has been lauded for its progressive policies to protect children.

United Nations deputy representative Muriel Mafico said the country made these moves long before they were mandated by international conventions.

Mafico was speaking at the National Conference on Juvenile Justice and said there were still some gaps which needed to be addressed.
