Chef expands
FAST FOOD RESTAURANT CHAIN Chefette breaks ground next month for construction of what will be its single largest investment to date in Barbados.
The company’s managing director Ryan Haloute yesterday disclosed plans to build an expansive new warehousing and cold storage plant at Lear’s, St Michael. The building will provide over 60 000 square feet of storage space, housing supplies for the 15 Chefette restaurants across Barbados.
It will also accommodate expansion of Chef Foods, the restaurant’s manufacturing arm.
Speaking during the official reopening of the Chefette Warrens branch yesterday, Haloute shared part of the secret of his company’s success with the invited guests representing over 70 local companies. (GC)
