HOTELS EXPECT to do bumper business this week which sees the third and final cricket Test between West Indies and England.
Some are reporting full bookings and others increased reservations ahead of the contest at Kensington Oval starts on Friday.
English tours of the Caribbean bring an influx of British visitors. With this year’s Barbados game viewed as the marquee event, all indications are that the island will host hundreds of cricket-loving patrons and their families.
General manager of the Radisson Hotel, Gerry Lewis, said the Bay Street property had been completely sold out for the May 1-5 Test, as cricket remained a popular sport in Barbados. (Caden Media)
