BCU may rethink Stewart Hill

SELLING STEWART HILL to local riders may be a real uphill battle.

Seems the Barbados Cycling Union (BCU) could be rethinking staging this October’s Caribbean Cycling Championships at the gruelling Bushy Park course after watching several cyclists struggle on the lengthy Stewart Hill climb.

Long-serving president Keith Yearwood hinted at a possible change in route following Sunday’s National Road Race, where no one managed to stay with Darren Matthews on the hill. (JM)
