Holder hopeful of playing
WEST INDIES all-rounder Jason Holder is back on his feet again and promises to walk tall on Friday in time for the third and final Wisden cricket Test against England at Kensington Oval.
The six-foot, seven-inch Holder, who was floored last Saturday when the West Indies were beaten by England in the second Test at the Grenada National Stadium, has assured his well-wishers that his ankle is much better and he can’t wait to set things straight come weekend.
“I’m feeling good . . . I’m walking freely without any pain or discomfort so I will start back running tomorrow [today],” he told NATION SPORT. (BAW)
