Arrested at the Airport

MEMBERS OF THE Drug Squad have formally charged 34-year-old Jamaican Howard Anthony Wright with several drug offences.

Wright is charged with possession of cannabis, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation of nine pounds of cannabis.

He arrived at the Grantley Adams International Airport on Wednesday from Jamaica and after being interviewed by police, was referred to Customs for a search.

Thirteen packages of cannabis were reportedly found hidden in his suitcase.

Wright is expected to appear at the District B Magistrates Court on Thursday. (PR/SAT)
