‘Push Festival’ on Facebook
A GOVERNMENT MINISTER is urging Barbadians to use social media sites such as Facebook to promote Crop Over instead of cursing politicians.
Speaking at the launch of the Grand Kadooment band Contact on Thursday night at the Wildey Gymnasium, Minister of Industry, Commerce and Small Business Donville Inniss said that each citizen was an ambassador for Barbados and should push the annual six week festival.
“It’s time we get on Facebook and the social media, not to curse politicians as they enjoy doing these days, but more importantly to promote the Crop Over season, to encourage friends and family to come home.” (Green Bananas Media)
