BARBADOS HAS LAUNCHED its celebration of Child Month with calls to reduce the incidence of abuse and neglect of children.

“The prevention of child abuse and neglect of children is a social responsibility that we all must bear,” Minister of Social Care Steve Blackett said yesterday while addressing a national children’s service at New Dimensions Ministries on Barbarees Hill, St Michael.
