Woman charged in drug trafficking

MEMBERS OF THE DRUG SQUAD have formally charged Kerry-Ann Natalee Davis, with several drug offences committed at the Grantley Adams International Airport on Monday.

 The 31-year-old Jamaican businesswoman has been charged with possession of cannabis, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation of four pounds of cannabis.

According to Police, Davis arrived in Barbados from Jamaica on Monday. She was interviewed by police and referred to Customs where a search revealed two packages containing cannabis hidden in a false bottom of her suitcase.

She is scheduled to appear at the District B Magistrates Court on Tuesday. (PR/SAT)
