Accused drug smuggler to appear in court

A JAMAICAN MAN is expected to appear in the Oistins Magistrates’ Court today charged with the trafficking and importation of half a pound of cannabis.

According to police, 37-year-old Irrol Chisolm arrived by air from Jamaica on May 4 and was interviewed by police. He was then referred to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he reportedly passed out 28 packets of the drug.

Chisolm also faces charges of possession and possession with intent to supply. (PR/NB)
