AMID THE CELEBRATION of mothers on Sunday, some of them were warned about their responsibility to their offsprings.

Pastor Vincent Wood of the Emmanuel Baptist Church told the congregation that while he agreed that no one could put a “mind” in a child, there were certain responsibilities that must not neglected.

He warned parents not to wait until after their children fell into trouble to then have regrets about not training them, including ensuring that they attended church.

Mothers, he added, should tell their children about trusting in God. “It is not old-timish to be a Christian,” he stressed.
