BARBADOS senior men’s football team suffered a setback on Sunday night when they went down to neighbours St Kitts and Nevis 1-3 in a friendly football international at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex, Paradise Park.
Both teams used the encounter to prepare for their CONCACAF second-round qualifiers, which are slated for next month.
Barbados handed first-time starts to teenage goalkeeper Keon Harding and defender Jamar Walters, while Renaldo Marquez and Arantes Lawrence made their return to international football under technical director Marcos Falopa.
The fast-paced start seemed to suit the visitors with their sharp passing, movement off the ball and their wing backs bursting forward in support.
