Barbadian now a golf pro

BARBADOS has a new home-grown PGA professional in golf.

    He is 28-year-old Sean Edey, a former Barbados player and the current assistant teaching professional at the Royal Westmoreland Club in St James, who recently gained his accreditation from the British PGA  in partnership with the University of Birmingham.

    Edey was formally accredited by PGA of Britain last month after completing three years of studies at the University of Birmingham, passing assessments by the body and benefiting from letters of recommendation from Ian Woosnam, now on the PGA Senior Tour, and Greg Schofield, the CEO of Royal Westmoreland.
