BUDGET DAY in Barbados will be Monday, June 15.
This was announced yesterday in the House of Assembly by Leader of the House, Minister of Health John Boyce.
Just before the end of the day’s sitting at 3:30 p.m., Boyce informed the Lower Chamber that Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs Chris Sinckler would deliver the Financial Statement And Budgetary Proposals on that date at 4 p.m.
This will be followed the next day by the Reply, expected to be delivered by Opposition Leader Mia Mottley, and then open debate on the statement beginning immediately after she sits down, and concluding late on Wednesday, June 17.
