Mum had a ‘gut feeling

SHE JUST KNEW.

From the time Marguerita “Ivy” Sargeant heard the news of a body being pulled from the water at Browne’s Beach yesterday, a feeling in the pit of her stomach told her it was her son Roger Rudder.

The 47-year-old porter at Standard Distributors, who lived in Brighton, St George, went for his usual Tuesday morning swim at the popular St Michael beach.

However, around 7:30 a.m. his body was pulled from the water and later identified by a cousin.
