Rough ride for Talmas

THE TALMA brothers met stiff competition on Day One of the International Surfing Association’s (ISA) World Stand Up Paddle and Paddle Board championships  in Sayulita, Mexico on Monday.

However, they have another chance to make it back into the qualifying rounds when they surf in back-to-back repechage heats tomorrow.

Brian and Kevin Talma are carrying the Barbados flag as ‘Team Barbados’ in the week-long event, which has drawn the top paddle and paddleboard surfers from 26 countries, including the United States, Brazil and Australia.
