THE much anticipated autopsy on the body of 12-year-old Shemar Weekes was “rescheduled” from yesterday until today, apparently about an hour and a half after the examination started.

The MIDWEEK NATION was informed by a hospital official that the procedure was halted yesterday morning for the “arrival of additional expertise”.

Six police officers, led by Inspector Jonathan Hart, accompanied grieving mother Julieann Weekes to the morgue at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where the procedure was scheduled to take place at 9 a.m.
