Low water pressure expected in eastern parishes next Tuesday

BARBADOS WATER Authority customers in some areas of St John, St Joseph and St Andrew may experience low water pressure and outages on Tuesday May 26, 2015.

The BWA said due to the replacement of mains along Benn Spring, St John to Mount Pleasant, St Philip, there will be a partial shutdown of its Springs Main between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. on that date.

The following areas will be affected:

Consett Bay, St Marks, Fortescue, Bath, St Margarets, Glenburnie and Foster Hall, St John;

Tent Bay, Bathsheba, Joes River, St Elizabeth, Cattlewash and East Coast Road, St Joseph and

Belleplaine, Lakes, Isolation Road, Franklin Doughlin Road, Babylon, Walkers, Shorey Village, Chalky Mount, Cambridge, Bruce Vale, St Simons, Bawdens, Cane Garden, Bruce Vale and Baxters,  St Andrew.

Residents in these areas are asked to store adequate water to meet their needs during this time.
