BARBDIAN ACE Roger “The Sheriff” Skeete and Louis Venezia lead a formidable list of 90 pairs from 15 nations for the Barbados Rally Club’s (BRC) 25th anniversary Sol Rally Barbados this weekend.
At the event’s briefing meeting at the Accra Beach Hotel & Spa in Rockley, 13-time winner Skeete and and his co-driver in the Sol/LIME/Simpson Motors/Automotive Art Subaru Impreza WRC S12, grabbed the top seeding after winning last Sunday’s LIME King of the Hill.
They will be followed by Jamaica’s Jeff “Fudgie” Panton and Mike Fennell in the Rubis/Total/Sandals Barbados Ford Focus WRC06, followed by the 2012 & ’13 winner Paul Bird and Aled Davies at the wheel of the Rubis/Cockspur/Frank Bird Poultry/Hager/Mac Tools/Elas/Pirelli/C4L Focus WRC08.
