PRAYERS WERE SAID on behalf of the island’s children yesterday as the National Day Of Prayer And Fasting called for by Bishop Gerry Seale was observed.
Seale, presiding bishop of the Barbados District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the West Indies (PAWI), made the appeal after some children were traumatised last week following the playing of the Charlie Charlie Challenge, a game said to be linked to demonic forces.
Though Seale could not be reached for comment yesterday, his PAWI assistant Bishop Phillip Drayton said it was left open to the ministers of the various churches to plan their prayer sessions.
