Speightstown breathing down QEH’s neck

SPEIGHTSTOWN continue to apply pressure on defending champions R. L. Seale QEH.

Playing at home last Sunday evening in the eighth series of the National Domino Association’s Four-hand Premiership Division, the men from the north hammered Almond Bay Evergreen 88-47 to claim a bonus point and move within two points of leaders QEH with 40.

Speightstown, led at the half by 11 points (40-29), mainly through the efforts of Selwyn Bowen and Don Husbands with a game-high 26 points and Michael Bradshaw and Ricky Strickland (23) points.
