BRA issues ‘under control’

THE COMPLEXITIES involved in Customs workers transitioning to the Barbados Revenue Authority (BRA) are still being worked out.

This was revealed by Sir Roy Trotman, immediate past general secretary of the Barbados Workers’ Union, following a three-hour meeting yesterday at Government Headquarters with Minister of Finance Chris Sinckler and a team dealing with the transfer.

When he emerged from the meeting around 2:30 p.m., Sir Roy told the media that the discussions were wide-ranging and they would have to meet again in another week.
