Ann Hill six for CXC
FOR THE FIRST time in its history, the Ann Hill School has entered students for the Caribbean Certificate of Secondary Level Competence.
Six students – five boys and a girl – undertook the electronic document preparation and management (EDPM) course in a move aimed at furthering the children’s self-development.
“It was a lesson well learnt that if you commit to something and work hard, you can achieve and these students are testimony of that. Many teachers lent their support and assistance to get to this point . . . [and] we are very excited as it is the first time for the school,” said principal Emelda Bell.
The Pine, St Michael school caters to children with disabilities and special needs.
