Rangers one step away

BARBADOS player Nikita Piggott pitched C.O. Williams Rangers one game closer to taking the Freekz Customz Division 1 netball title with a 33-26 win over defending Pine Hill Dairy St Barnabas at the Netball Stadium on Wednesday night.

Goal attack Piggott, with a 72 per cent average, scored a game high 18 goals from 25 attempts as Rangers controlled the low scoring match, 8-5, 16-12 and 25-21 before completing their fifth league victory by repeating the first-round win over St Barnabas.

The double-crown 2014 queens have already lost their knockout title to UWI Blackbirds and with two losses to the Rangers, St. Barnabas and the other Division 1 teams will need a miracle to stop the Rangers.
