CONSTRUCTION HAS STARTED on a $10 million clubhouse at Apes Hill Club – designed to be the hub of the sprawling billion-dollar residential and tourism venture.
The 20 000 square foot building, which will feature a number of top-of-the-line facilities, including a spa and fitness centre, two swimming pools and a top-notch restaurant and bar, should be completed and open to business by the middle of next year.
Project manager Donovan Bagwell told the DAILY NATION: “What we are going to achieve with this project is the very first true country club in Barbados . . . . So essentially, as a family, when you come to Apes Hill you will be able to go to the country club and choose what activity you will take part in, whether it is golf, polo, tennis, swimming, fitness or something else.
