MORE THAN 100 students from secondary schools across the island are expected to participate in an interactive seminar on the topic  Barbadian Youth – An Integral Part of CARICOM’s Development.

It will take place at the Barbados Community College’s Liberal Arts Auditorium, ‘Eyrie’, Howells Cross Road, St. Michael tomorrow from 10 a.m. until noon.

The seminar is part of the activities to sensitise Barbadians, especially young people, about CARICOM and the regional integration project, as Barbados prepares to host the Thirty-Sixth Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government from July 2 to 4, under the theme CARICOM: Vibrant Societies, Resilient Economies.

Students will be invited to pose questions to members of the panel, following presentations from Barbados’ Ambassador to CARICOM, Robert Morris, and CARICOM Youth Ambassadors Mosiah Hoyte and Sade Jemmott.  (Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade/BGIS)
