BUSINESS OWNERS in The City should be in a better position to cash in on the sweets from First Citizens City Fest and the Ceremonial Delivery Of The Last Canes this year.
Many of them complained about loss in business at the first event last year because of the early closure of Broad Street on the Friday before, but that should not be an issue this year. The argument for the early closure was for workmen to set up and artistes to rehearse.
Event producer Alison Sealy-Smith told the DAILY NATION the National Cultural Foundation (NCF) had responded to the cries.
