Farmers feel left out

SEVERAL FARMERS who will be affected by the proposed changes of land use in some St Philip and Christ Church communities believe that no provisions have been made for animal husbandry in the Draft Community Plan.

Even though fewer than 40 people turned out for the second community meeting to discuss the progress of the planned development, which will stretch across districts from St David’s, Christ Church, to Six Roads, St Philip, the debate was robust on Wednesday at Princess Margaret School, St Philip.

The meeting was chaired by Ecoisle Consulting Inc. and Open Plan, the consultants appointed by the Town and Country Development Planning Office to develop the Community Plan.
